Short Bio
- I joined TUM in 2015 as Assistant Professor and was promoted to the rank of Associate Professor with tenure in 2021.
- My research deals with Uncertainty Quantification for PDE-based models.
- Current areas of interest are rare event estimation, statistical inverse problems, and physics-enhanced machine learning.
- I am an Associate Editor of the SIAM Journal on Scientific Computing
and the SIAM/ASA Journal on Uncertainty Quantification

- In 2021-2022 I am Vice Chair of the SIAM Activity Group on Uncertainty Quantification
